Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups homemade chicken, beef, or fish stock
  • Handful of spinach or other greens (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated gingerroot (optional)
  • 1-2 whole pastured egg yolks
  • 1 spoonful pastured lard, coconut oil or ghee
  • Sea Salt

Instructions

Bring the broth to a boil. Skim and discard the scum. Add the spinach. Turn off the heat, press in a clove of garlic and the ginger, and whisk in an egg yolk or two. Add a healthy fat of your choice and sea salt to taste. I like to top with whole fat, organic sour cream! Delish!
